As Immigrant Heritage Month comes to an end, I would like us to once again reflect on Baltimore’s rich ethnic heritage and our history as a welcoming home to New Americans.
Today, Mayor Stephanie Rawlings-Blake joined with 23 mayors from across the country to respond to the Texas Federal judge’s temporary order blocking President’s Obama executive actions on immigration.
The City of Baltimore will highlight the importance of joining together in a spirit of unity to build a better, safer, and stronger Baltimore that embraces new and native-born Americans.
