Office of the Inspector General Advisory Board

The Advisory Board is responsible for appointing the Inspector General, conducting an annual performance review for the Inspector General, and for reviewing, revising, and approving the Office of the Inspector General’s budget.  The Advisory Board is conducting this process for the first time this year in response to the passage of a Charter Amendment in 2018 that established the Advisory Board and set forth its responsibilities.  As part of those responsibilities, the Advisory Board would like to hear from the public on the performance of the Office of the Inspector General, as well as any way that members of the public feel that the Office could be strengthened.  To that end, the Advisory Board will be holding a 30-day public comment period from August 9, 2021 to September 8, 2021
