BALTIMORE, MD (Wednesday, February 7, 2024) — Today, Mayor Brandon M. Scott released the following statement in reaction to Governor Wes Moore’s 2024 State of the State Address.

“I was proud to attend Governor Moore's State of the State today as he highlighted Maryland's progress under his leadership, including Baltimore's historic reduction in homicides.

"In his speech today, Governor Moore made it clear that he will continue to be a true partner in the work to improve public safety, eliminate vacant properties, and continue our record investments in our schools.
