Bill Henry

BillBill Henry was sworn as Comptroller of Baltimore City in December 2020.  As Comptroller, Henry serves on several City boards and commissions, including the Board of Estimates, the Board of Finance, the Architectural and Engineering Commission, the Hotel Corporation, the Biennial Audits Oversight Commission, and the Boards of Trustees for both of the City's pension systems. He also oversees Baltimore City’s Department of Audits, Department of Telecommunications, the Municipal Post Office, Accounts Payable and the Department of Real Estate.

Prior to his time as Comptroller Henry served three terms representing North and Northeast Baltimore's 4th District on the Baltimore City Council. A graduate of Loyola University Maryland, where he earned an MBA with a concentration in finance, Henry received his undergraduate degree in social & behavioral sciences, with concentrations in urban studies and public policy, from Johns Hopkins University. A lifelong Baltimore resident, Henry lives in the Radnor-Winston neighborhood with his wife and their two daughters.
