BALTIMORE, MD. (Tuesday, November 8, 2022) - Today, Mayor Brandon M. Scott announced Chezia Cager as his new Chief of Staff. Cager will assume the position effective November 28, 2022.

Cager served in senior advisory roles in both the Obama and Biden administrations leading improvement efforts impacting domestic policy, national operations, and external engagements.

"Chezia brings an impressive wealth of government experience, first-hand knowledge of Baltimore, and a comprehensive understanding of how to develop and maintain beneficial partnerships with federal, state, and local governments for more than fifteen years," said Mayor Brandon M. Scott.

As Chief of Staff, Cager will provide oversight to legislative affairs, communications, and constituent services for the Mayor's Office and manage the development and execution of Baltimore's state and federal legislative and policy agendas.
