2019 Fall Cleanup

The Fall & Spring Cleanups are a tradition in Baltimore. On Saturday 10/26, Mayor Bernard C. "Jack" Young, city agencies, residents, community organizations & volunteers participated in the citywide annual Fall cleanup.

Recently, Mayor Young sent a letter to Governor Hogan outlining Baltimore City’s spending priorities for the Fiscal Year 2021 State Budget.

Baltimore City Receives Funding to Address Youth Homelessness

On September 6, Mayor Young joined Senator Ben Cardin, Senator Chris Van Hollen and Congressman John Sarbanes to announce nearly $3.7 million in federal funding for the Mayor’s Office of Homeless Services through the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) Youth Homelessness Demonstration Program. These federal funds will support a comprehensive planning process to develop the best strategies to meet the needs of homeless youth in Baltimore City.
