Severe Winter Storm Expected Sunday Night into Tuesday

BALTIMORE, MD (Sunday, January 5, 2025) - Today, Mayor Brandon M. Scott issued an Executive Order declaring a State of Emergency in Baltimore City in response to severe winter weather expected across the region. The Executive Order mobilizes the City of Baltimore's Emergency Operations Plan to deploy emergency resources and activates additional resources needed to tackle the emergency situation.

This State of Emergency is in effect starting 11:00 p.m. on Sunday, January 5, 2025, and will remain in effect for forty-eight hours, subject to renewal or cancellation as conditions warrant.
