Purpose of the Committee

Mayor Scott has appointed a search committee to recommend candidates for the position of Health Commissioner of Baltimore City. This webpage will provide information about meetings of the search committee.

 

Search Committee Meetings

The Search Committee's work will be related to personnel matters and is expected to be conducted in closed session under Section § 3-305(b)(1). The closing statement is expected to read, "We will enter a closed session under § 3-305(b)(1) to discuss personnel matters related to the search for a Commissioner of Health for Baltimore City." 

Recommendations for the position of health commissioner will be communicated confidentially to Mayor Scott.
